Based on Visual-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) method, children are exposed to a step-by-step multi-sensorial method to read, spell and write using phonics. It has 3 levels (i.e. Beginner, Intermediate, & Advance). Phonics lessons will be taught step-by-step. Non-phonetic words will be taught as well.

Once children have completed our Dyslexia Program, they can enroll in our follow-up program, Reading Comprehension and Written Expression. Our Reading Comprehension program will teach children to make inferences and to boost their critical thinking skills while our Written Expression program will expand their vocabulary, will train them to write sentences, paragraphs and essays.

  • ” Our daughter, Kelly, was diagnosed as Global Developmental Delay. At that time, she had speech and articulation problems. She was timid, low self-esteem, get frustrated easily and did not like to look at the mirror, she thought herself was worthless. We placed her in a private school, she has no friend due to her speech problem. She had difficulty in study but she could sense the peer pressure then she started to withdraw herself. As parents, we are so worried about her situation then we seek consultation at Ding Child Psychology Centre. The psychologist decided to have play therapy sessions with Kelly and she also advised us to pull her out from the normal mainstream and placed her in a home school centre. Beside this, the psychologist also introduced speech therapist and occupational therapist to Kelly. After few sessions of play therapy with Kelly, Kelly started to develop loving, kindness and has better self-control, which enables her to has better encounters with other children. Recently, Kelly is joining the English learning program specially designed for children with special needs at Ding Child Psychology Centre. From the program, Kelly is able to learn English phonics, how to structure a sentence and grammar. The principal psychologist will update us about Kelly’s progress. We would like to express our appreciation to the psychologist that she has done a great job for she is able to change a child’s lives. Keep it up “
